Scaffolding FAQ

In accordance with Victorian legislation, Non mobile scaffolding or mobile scaffolding exceeding four (4) metres in height must be assembled, erected and dismantled and/or adjusted by a qualified scaffolder with current and relevant scaffolding certification to comply with SafeWork Australia requirements. You may erect a mobile tower without certification, so long as the scaffolding is no more than 4 metres in height. Our experienced and team are able to deliver and assemble your mobile tower promptly and efficiently, should you require it.

The type and size of the scaffold required will vary depending on the scope and purpose of the project. Scaffolding for painting a two storey house with be vastly different to scaffolding used for building an apartment block. Below are some common scaffolding applications and their recommended scaffolding type.

  • Two Storey House- Steel Kwikstage
    Commercial
  • Buildings- Aluminium Ringlock
  • Building interiors- Mobile Scaffold Towers

Our hire periods vary depending on the type of scaffold and the projects intended use.

As a general indication:

  • Mobile Scaffold: 1 Day
  • Aluminium Ring Lock/ Kwikstage: 3 days
  • Steel Ring Lock /Kwikstage: 2 Weeks
